1st Grade Curriculum

The first grade curriculum typically covers a wide range of topics including math, reading, writing, science, and social studies.

While the focus is on developing basic skills in each subject, first graders are also introduced to more complex concepts and ideas. In math, for example, first graders learn to count and add, but they also begin to learn about place value and basic operations.
