10th Grade Curriculum

In the United States, the 10th grade curriculum generally focuses on English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. English classes typically focus on literature, writing, and grammar. Math classes usually focus on algebra and geometry. Science classes might focus on biology, earth science, or chemistry. Social Studies classes might focus on economics, government, or history. Some schools also require foreign language or other electives.

Along with academic coursework, students also continue to develop their interpersonal and independent learning skills.
