This homeschool PE curriculum was created by the owners of RobbinsAthletics.com, who homeschool their 9 children. The family uses fitness, athletics, and sports as a critical element of their homeschooling approach, and they publish resources to help homeschoolers and other athletes improve their fitness and performance.
At RobbinsAthletics.com, we believe that learning to be healthy and fit is as essential to education as any other subject kids can study. You may not know this, but Robbins Athletics is a family-operated business, run by a family that has been homeschooling our kids for over a decade. Along with reading, math, science, and other essential learning categories, we love fitness and health.
The physical education curriculum calendar below represents an easy-to-follow 30-day program that helps homeschooled kids develop strength, coordination, speed, flexibility, endurance, athleticism, and overall commitment to an ongoing healthy and active lifestyle.
This curriculum consists of a 30-day calendar that includes a block of time each school day for doing exercises and playing games that reinforce a love of physical activity. Below the calendar, we have included the exercises that comprise the 30-day curriculum, so if you don’t know yet what mountain climbers are, simply scroll down to that section of the exercise description and you’ll see a quick demonstration of what the exercise involves.
