Physical Education
What is Physical Education?
In physical education classes, students learn about the importance of exercise and physical activity. They develop skills in a variety of sports and activities, and learn how to safely participate in physical activity. Students also learn about how to maintain their own physical fitness and how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
It is a lifelong process that begins in early childhood and continues throughout the lifespan. Physical education helps people to develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It contributes to the overall good health and well-being of individuals and society.
