Drafting
What is Drafting?
Drafting is the process of creating a detailed plan or blueprint for a project. It is an essential step in the planning process and helps to ensure that all stakeholders are on the same page regarding the project's scope, goals, and timeline. The drafting process can be completed using various methods, including hand-drawing, computer-aided design (CAD), and three-dimensional (3D) modeling.
The most common type of drafting is mechanical drafting, which uses drafting machines, software, and measuring devices to create precise drawings. Architectural drafting is another common type of drafting, which uses software to create drawings of buildings and other structures.
It is a critical skill for engineers and architects, as well as for artists and graphic designers. The ability to create accurate and precise drawings is essential in many fields.
