It is designed to assess problem solving, critical thinking, written analysis and knowledge of scientific concepts and principles. Learning MCAT

The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a computer-based standardized test for prospective medical students in the United States, Australia, Canada, and Caribbean Islands. The MCAT assesses problem solving, critical thinking, writing skills, and knowledge of science concepts and principles prerequisite to the study of medicine.

There are a variety of resources that can be used to learn the material needed to do well on the MCAT. Official MCAT prep books from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) are one option. These prep books contain full-length practice tests as well as tips and strategies for taking the MCAT.

There are also a number of commercial prep courses available. These courses typically provide live or online instruction, as well as practice tests and other resources.

Self-study is another option for preparing for the MCAT. In self-study, students use MCAT prep books and other resources to teach themselves the material. This option requires a great deal of self-discipline, but can be less expensive than taking a commercial prep course.

No matter which method of learning is used, it is important to give yourself plenty of time to prepare for the MCAT. Most students study for several months before taking the test.
