MathBuilders is a free web app built for one focused job: helping kids turn math facts into automatic recall. Instead of long, undifferentiated worksheets, it delivers short daily practice sessions — usually just two to five minutes — and quietly tracks how well a child knows each individual fact. Facts a student misses or answers slowly are scheduled to come back through spaced repetition, so practice concentrates on the handful of facts that actually need work rather than re-drilling the ones already mastered.

The app was created by a homeschooling parent for his own daughter, and that origin shows in the design: it is deliberately lightweight, ad-free, and quick to start. The core practice covers addition and subtraction plus multiplication up to 6×6, and children can begin practicing immediately without creating an account or hitting a paywall. A free account is optional and simply saves progress and the review plan across sessions and devices — handy when more than one child shares a computer, or you want to pick up where you left off on a tablet.

MathBuilders fits families, homeschoolers, tutors, and elementary teachers working with kids roughly ages 6–12 (grades 2–5, plus 6th-grade-and-up intervention). Addition and subtraction suit the younger end; multiplication and division are the main draw from about third grade on. Because it isolates weak facts and keeps sessions short, it works best as a complement to a full math curriculum rather than a replacement for one — the daily fact-fluency layer that makes the rest of arithmetic go faster. An optional premium tier adds per-fact statistics and larger fact packs (multiplication through 24, combined multiplication and division) for families who want more, but the free version is fully usable on its own.
