Lesson Worlds is a browser-based learning platform from Toronto that brings together a 3D adventure world, educator-made games, interactive science labs and reading experiences. Everything runs in the browser with no download, and guest play is available, so a child can start exploring before a parent creates an account. The site describes its core game as a connected learning adventure for grades 1 to 8, where children explore learning missions in a world they can change and keep.

The site's terms describe the heart of the product as supplemental school-practice games for grades 1 to 8, with saved practice paths by grade and subject. The free side of the site is broad. A labs page lists 30 interactive science activities across physics, chemistry and biology, each built around one idea: change the pull of gravity and watch an apple fall, change voltage or resistance and see how current responds, nudge foxes or rabbits in a meadow food web, or warm a flask to see how reaction rate changes. Each lab asks the learner to prove the idea by controlling the result rather than just reading about it, and the labs page says they can be explored without signing in.

Reading worlds present public-domain classics such as Moby-Dick, Pride and Prejudice, The Odyssey, Romeo and Juliet, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, read at your own pace in the browser, along with a separate stories and rhymes collection. Educator games include three geography games from GIS educator Frank Romo, marked Grade 6 and up: Fly Romo, a flight through city landmarks; Romo Guesser, where players read street clues and drop a pin on the map; and GeoRescue, where players document hazards and help a neighborhood after a tornado. A few other educator games are aimed at undergraduates and may need a class access code.

A household membership costs US$4.99 a month for up to three child profiles. According to the site's terms, it adds saved grade 1 to 8 practice paths, the wider grade and subject game library, all interactive labs and a parent dashboard with progress and available skill-check results. Parents create each child's username and password, and no child email address is needed.

For homeschool families, Lesson Worlds works best as a supplement: a hands-on way to explore a science idea, a geography game for a middle schooler, or a classic novel to read on screen. The site itself notes that completing practice does not by itself show mastery, so it fits alongside a main curriculum rather than in place of one.
