Students explore topics including basic syntax, data types, expressions, control statements, and interaction between the compiler and the hardware.
Programming exercises are oriented towards learning how to construct an efficient algorithm to solve a problem. The course will use Dev C++. Students are given regular programming assignments throughout the course. Students learn to compile, execute, and debug their programs. This program is available for purchase by quarter and includes online tutoring.
