Microbiology

Microbiology is the study of microorganisms, which are microscopic life forms that include bacteria, archaea, fungi, protozoa, and viruses. Microbiology can be studied at the level of individual microbes, their genomes, or the interactions between microbes and other organisms. Microbiology is a branch of biology that is frequently studied in conjunction with other disciplines such as medicine, agriculture, and chemical engineering.
