Data Mining
What is Data Mining ?
Data Mining is the extraction of hidden information from large data sets. It is a multidisciplinary field, drawing on concepts and techniques from statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and database systems. Data Mining is used in a variety of applications, such as fraud detection, market analysis, and scientific discovery.
There are a variety of techniques for data mining, including decision trees, genetic algorithms, neural networks, and rule-based systems. Data Mining can be used to find trends and patterns in data, which can then be used to make predictions about future events. Data Mining is also used to identify relationships between different items in a data set, such as genes or proteins.
