About CAPM

The CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification is a globally recognized certification for project practitioners. The CAPM certification is evidence that the holder has the fundamental knowledge and understanding of the project management process as described in thePMBOK® Guide (A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK® Guide). The CAPM certification is granted by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.

The CAPM can be used to satisfy the educational requirements for the PMP and to demonstrate an individual’s commitment to professional development in project management. The CAPM is also valuable for those who do not yet meet the experience requirements for the PMP but wish to demonstrate their knowledge of project management.
