HeyOtto, from BerryWell AI, makes an AI assistant platform for kids and teens aged 8 to 18, available on the web and as iOS and Android apps. Children chat with an assistant called Otto for homework help, writing, stories, images, coding and voice, while a parent-managed account gives the adult a dashboard with conversation transcripts, topic blocking and real-time alerts.

The company was founded by Natalie Gibson and says it is built to meet COPPA, FERPA and SOC 2 standards, does not sell children's data and carries no ads. It offers a free family plan and a paid Pro plan, and a separate version for K-12 schools with teacher dashboards.
