Al Sweigart

Al Sweigart's programming books, especially 'Automate the Boring Stuff with Python,' are well-regarded among homeschoolers for introducing coding in a practical, accessible way. Families appreciate the clear, step-by-step instructions that make programming approachable for middle and high school students. However, some note that a basic familiarity with computers is helpful before starting, and that parents may need to supplement with additional explanations or projects to maintain engagement. Overall, his materials are seen as a solid entry point into coding with a focus on real-world applications.
