K-2 Core Curriculum – Civics: American Government and Citizenship
In this fun and interactive unit study, designed to meet and exceed state and national standards, your children will explore civics through a child-friendly study of the American government and what it means to be a good citizen! With over 32 activities and 17 hands-on exercises, your children will learn about the American Constitution, the three branches of government, and how government affects their daily lives. Each chapter includes current and active links to videos, hands-on activities, readings, worksheets, interactive websites, games, and much more to provide a multisensory approach to learning about government.

This unit study is part of our civics core curriculum series for grades K-2. It can also be purchased as part of the complete K-2 Civics Bundle, which also includes “K-2 Civics: Leaders in America” and “K-2 Civics: Symbols of America.”

The time needed to complete this unit study will vary for each child, but you should expect to spend approximately 20 hours.
