FinOps For Engineers

This course is designed to help engineers and those who architect, design, construct, and operate software solutions and infrastructure in the public cloud to understand how to work effectively with FinOps teams, finance, procurement, product, and management teams to manage cloud use and cost more efficiently and to derive more business value from cloud. Your company might call FinOps by the name Cloud Financial Management or Cloud Economics, and may refer to your FinOps team as the Cloud Business Office, Cloud Center of Excellence, Cloud Management team or other names.

This is a practitioner level course which will look at FinOps from the perspective of engineers. Engineers and ops team members, such as Lead Software Engineer, Principal Systems Engineer, Service Delivery Manager, Engineering Manager, DevOps Engineer, DevOps Manager, or SecOps Team members focused on building and supporting services for the organization will benefit from the knowledge gained.
