K-2 Geography: Across the United States
K-2 Core Curriculum – Geography: Across the United States
In this fun and interactive unit study, your children will explore the 50 states as well as geographic features of the United States!
Our approach is to use board games, interactive online games and activities, clay work and drawing, music, kinesthetic activities, and other hands-on methods to make learning the geography of the United States fun, interactive and memorable!
This unit study is intended as a year long study of the United States, with students completing one state each week. The geography of the United States is vast and diverse, so it lends itself to a slow study, allowing the concepts, places, and particulars to be explored over time.
This unit study is the second release in our geography core curriculum series for grades K-2. The time needed to complete this unit study will vary for each child, but you should expect to spend approximately 2-3 hours per week.
