Introductory Physics

Description

Our course teaches what is generally covered in a first-year and second-year physics course and can be a major component of Advanced Placement (AP) preparation.

This Introductory Physics course covers topics including measurement and mathematical background; kinematics and dynamics; work, energy, and momentum; rotational dynamics; mechanics of solids and fluids; and wave motion and sound. It also covers: thermodynamics, electric fields and potential, circuits, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, and AC circuits. And finally, students learn: geometrical optics, wave nature of light, special and general relativity, quantum mechanics, elementary particle physics, and astrophysics. This product is available for purchase quarterly and includes online tutoring.
