About American Revolution

During the American Revolution, the thirteen colonies of the United States of America broke away from the rule of Great Britain. This was a time of great change and upheaval, not only in America but around the world. The ideas of liberty and democracy that were being championed in America were inspiring people everywhere to fight for their own freedom.

The American Revolution was fought from 1775-1783. The war began with the Battle of Lexington and Concord in April 1775, and ended with the signing of the Treaty of Paris in September 1783. In between, there were many important battles and events, including the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Declaration of Independence, the Battle of Saratoga, and the Battle of Yorktown.

The American Revolution was a truly global conflict, with battles taking place not only in America but also in Europe, the West Indies, and Africa. The war was fought by a small group of dedicated patriots who were willing to risk everything for the cause of liberty.

Today, the American Revolution is remembered as one of the most important events in history. The lessons learned during this time continue to inspire people around the world who are fighting for their own freedoms.
