# 8th Grade

In eighth grade, kids will evaluate arguments in written text, interpret the use of language, grasp similes and metaphors, and they’ll write formal essays, research, and well-structured narrative text. In their math classes, they’ll solve linear equations, understand rational and irrational numbers, work with squares, square roots, and the Pythagorean Theorem. Find resources to learn these subjects and eighth grade science and social studies here in whatever format works best for you - books, videos, online classes, learning apps and much more.
