Kathy-jo was born in Tower, Minnesota and raised in northern Minnesota.  She studied music composition at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and received a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas. Today, as an active entrepreneur,  she is committed to projects that amplify and strengthen the connections between health, wellness, and the natural environment.
